OWNER
While other 18-year-old girls shopped for college supplies and compared sororities, Moncy Hawkins searched for a safe place to live… alone. After her mother died, she was alone, homeless, and broke.
Mrs. Hawkins is now recognized for her leadership and expertise in financial education and credit counseling. Defying the odds, she reached this point with Faith In God, hope for more, and a series of life-changing choices.
She chose to reject a poverty mindset. Instead, she repaired her credit, learned to manage money, secured housing in her name, and moved forward to financial freedom – all before her 20th birthday.
Mrs. Hawkins could have focused solely on growing her personal wealth. Yet she left her 20-year corporate stint with Big 4 Accounting firms and launched FIG (Faith in God) Restoration, LLC, and MHawkins Consultancy to help others.
Her passion for credit rehabilitation stems from first-hand experience with poverty caused by financial illiteracy. Because she’s not asking others to do something she hasn’t done, her empathy and personalized approach has inspired hundreds of people to commit to new choices – leading them to financial stability and creditworthiness.
With her credentials and exceptional track record, Mrs. Hawkins is a highly sought resource in the credit and financial marketplace. She chooses to balance her days with service to educational and non-profit organizations, such as WBEA-Women’s Business Center, SCORE Houston, and AIDS Foundation Houston.
